Why Bathe Naked?

My 10 month old climbed into the tub fully clothed while my other children were taking a bath! Diaper and all. I think he probably had some help. Fortunately, I was in the next room when I heard the splash.

Apple Glass Sauce

My son was trying so hard to help. He accidently dropped the brand new jar of applesauce onto the floor. There was sauce splattered everywhere--as well as plenty of broken glass.

The Colors of the Rainbow

Nothing like finding food coloring in the pantry. It was all over the floor and all over my kids! It took a couple of baths to minimize the color! Ughh!

I didn't feel like my life was in the toilet--but my kids were! My twins were playing in the toilet like it was a jacuzzi. Thank goodness it had at least been flushed.

Pink is my favorite color

Madison decided to find my one, yes I only have one, bottle of nail polish. Then she painted her whole left arm with with pink polish. She also decided that my leather office chair would look better as a pink chair. Unfortunately, there was only enough polish to do most of the seat.

She also got it on the carpet, bean bags, an end table, the couch, and I'm sure some other things I haven't yet discovered.

Congratulations, Lane, you win for the worst poopy diaper ever. My son likes to poop at 5 am every morning. He wakes up like an alarm has hit his bowels. I usually wait it out a bit to make sure he is all done. I've had the misfortune of changing him in between his final output. This little number he did today left a trail on the carpet. That's how I discovered just how bad the damage was. Does anyone have one that's worse?

Painting the Town Red

I was painting my downstairs half bath in a bright red. I had to run an errand and let the first layer dry. I came home to my 2 year old who had decided to keep painting while I was gone! I had to touch up blue, white, and green walls.

Welcome to "Look What My Kid Did!" This is a fun place for parents to see that sometimes the messes your own kids make aren't so bad! Or, maybe you realize you've got a major troublemaker on your hands. :) Either way, it's more fun to laugh (and take pictures) of the "spilt milk" than to cry over it.

If your kids have made a mess--share it with the rest of the blogosphere. We would love to post it. Here's what you need to do:

1. Send your story and picture to: mykiddid@gmail.com It's okay if you don't have a picture. We'll probably still post it. It's just a lot more fun for everyone to see in a photograph the damage that has been done.

2. Include whatever information you would like to be posted. For example you can send just your first name; your first and last name; or request to be anonymous. You may also include your city and state. Remember, it's up to you and does not effect whether or not your picture can be posted.

3. If you would like more traffic to your own blog, add your blog address and we'll include it in the post.

4. Allow 3-5 days for your picture and story to be posted.
